Hot dogs, chips, cold brew, and good company. Drop in, hang out, meet the committee.
Three days in the mountains. Speakers, meetings, hikes, capture the flag, mafia, and a fire that doesn't quit.
An environment built for being in the moment — with people who get it.
Connect with members of AA all weekend, get to know other people and yourself in a beautiful outdoor setting.
We've got most meals covered, and you're welcome to bring your own food and drinks. You won't go hungry.
Capture the flag, scavenger hunts, MAFIA, card games, hiking, and whatever else gets started around the fire.
Don't miss out on a weekend of real connection with other AA members. Show up as you are.
We'll share the lineup soon. In the meantime, lock in your spot — speaker drops always sell the last seats fast.
The essentials before you head into the woods.
Safety is our top priority. We review safety guidelines at the start of the campout, and you can review the AA Safety Card (PDF) ahead of time.
Be mindful of your allergies — for example, peanut butter will be available for lunches. Bring any needed medications, including emergency ones (epi-pens, inhalers, etc.).
The Kuykendall camping area is in Brevard, NC. Vehicles must cross a creek to enter.
A tent and sleeping setup, weather-appropriate clothes, any meds, and a flashlight. We've got most meals covered. A full packing list goes out with your registration confirmation.
Age is not a factor in YPAA — and we consider anyone willing to grow spiritually a part of our community. If you're curious, you're welcome.
